Hellas Continues to Build it Right and on Time
Austin, TX (March 28, 2011) - Hellas Construction has completed another premier high school sports complex in the state of Texas at Sinton ISD. Construction crews recently
cleared out and put the final touches on Pirate Stadium leaving Sinton High School with a newly renovated synthetic turf field and running track.
Sinton ISD began to look into the switch from natural grass to synthetic turf when funding was in place and after playing at Calallen High School, who has also had synthetic turf installed by Hellas. The superintendent for Sinton ISD Steve VanMatre said, “When we checked Hellas’ references no one was hesitant to comment on how professional Hellas’ crews were throughout the whole process”. VanMatre further stated, “Competitive prices, quality and customer service” lead to the selection of Hellas’ Matrix® Turf and Sports Track® 200.
It was an improvement for the student athletes at Sinton High School as well as the community. Sinton held an open house for the newly renovated stadium to the public which also served as an official reopening of the resurfaced track for use by the public. The sports complex will also be available to the community for youth football. “We were overwhelmed with the quality of everything that was done,” said VanMatre.
