SAN ANTONIO, TX--(Marketwired - December 27, 2013) - Organizers of the post-season 2013 Valero Alamo Bowl have run out of tickets with a week to go before kick-off. Alamo Bowl officials say the game is now officially sold out. This year will mark the third straight sellout for the collegiate football game and the sixth in the last eight years. Hellas Construction's SoftTop Removable System will set the stage for this year's 21st annual meeting. Debuting at the Alamodome in 2009, the SoftTop Removable System field can be converted within 24 hours or less if required, rolled-up and stored inside the stadium to accommodate various events.
Valero's 2013 matchup will feature a Texas Longhorns squad with Mack Brown making his last appearance as Head Coach, versus an Oregon Ducks team that will make its first trip to San Antonio.
"After celebrating our 20th anniversary last year, we pledged the next 20 Valero Alamo Bowls would be even more memorable and impactful," said Derrick Fox, Valero Alamo Bowl President/CEO. "Thanks to the tremendous fan following of Oregon and Texas coupled with the support of our title sponsor Valero this year's game will feature one of our largest crowds of all-time."
Reed J. Seaton, CEO and President of Hellas Construction, along with the Hellas Management congratulate Mack Brown on 16 great years and wish him the best in the future ahead.
