Face-Off Between Missouri and Oklahoma State to Start AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic

ARLINGTON, TX--(Marketwired - January 03, 2014) - Missouri, the SEC East Division Champion, will face off with Oklahoma State for the 78th AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic on Friday, January 3, 2014. Missouri will be making its third appearance, and OSU is making its fourth trip to the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic. AT&T Stadium was recently named America's Top Best 5 Newest Stadiums in the NFL by Thrillist. The AT&T Stadium is the fourth largest stadium in the NFL by seating capacity. Inside AT&T Stadium lays the most state of the art synthetic turf field manufactured by Hellas Construction. The College Football Playoff will begin with the 2014-15 season. A committee will select the four participating teams. The No. 1 seed will meet No. 4, and No. 2 will face No. 3. The semifinal games will rotate annually among bowl games in Atlanta, Dallas, Miami, New Orleans, Pasadena and Phoenix. The first semifinals will be played January 1, 2015 at the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl. The first national championship game will be played January 12, 2015 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
