Rapid Growth Lands Hellas Construction on the 2016 Inc. 5000 List

AUSTIN, TX (August 26, 2016) – As Hellas continues to develop advanced sporting surfaces and delivery methods, the company’s project reach and revenue continues to grow as well. Schools, universities, and communities are not the only ones to take notice of Hellas’ exponential growth. As of August 2016, Hellas has earned a well-deserved position on the 2016 Inc. 5000 list.

The Inc. 5000 is a well-respected, annually published list of the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the US. The 2015 Inc. 5000 list includes private companies with growth increases ranging from more than 43% to 100,000%. Since inception in 2003, Hellas has had a revenue growth of more than 8,000%, with steady growth every year.

To qualify as a potential member of the Inc. 5000 list, companies must be independent, privately owned, and in the US. The company’s revenue in 2012 must have been no less than $100,000 and no less than $2,000,000 in 2015. The company must have begun earning revenue by the end of March 2012 with a steady increase in revenue since inception. Other recognizable members of the Inc. 5000 list include Suja Juice, Bounce Exchange Software Company, Dollar Shave Club, and Orangetheory Fitness.

Hellas, and President and CEO Reed J. Seaton, is no stranger to growth. Seaton was an Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year 1995 finalist, and was the winner in the Emerging Business category in 1996. The Austin Business Journal recognized Hellas in 2010 as one of the fastest growing companies in central Texas. Hellas was also awarded SportsField Management’s 2015 Field Builder of the Year Award. For the 2016 year, Seaton was nominated for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Central Texas Area Award.

In conjunction with revenue growth, Hellas has expanded office locations. In November, a satellite office in West Boca Raton, FL., was opened, and a Frisco, TX. office will be opening at the end of this month. “As demand increases, Hellas sees this as a great move that will allow for further growth moving forward,” said Seaton.
