Hellas Construction today announced the promotion of Eric Horn to Regional Vice President-Houston. Horn has worked as Project Manager for the Houston office, which opened last year to better serve schools, organizations, and the Houston Texans in the Greater Houston Area.
“I am very pleased and appreciate the opportunity Hellas has given me over the course of the past year. I have gained valuable experience, working on various types of projects,” said Horn. “I look forward to my new position and helping to further expand the Hellas brand and increase the number of satisfied Hellas customers in the Houston area.”
President and CEO Reed J. Seaton said, “Eric has worked very hard over the last year, playing an integral role in managing our Houston area projects and supporting our valued customers. His determination and dedication, along with his vast, past experience has already led to the expansion of our customer base in the Houston area and additional contracts for future projects.”
Horn will continue to support the growing needs of the Houston office, as it expands and moves into a permanent office in May 2018. He has six years in the construction and engineering industry, having previously worked for Stantec and Kellogg Brown & Root, working on projects in structural design, drainage design, and highway design. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Cornell University and EIT certification with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
Horn said, “Our goal is to provide unmatched customer service to the school districts and clients in our area, in order to gain their confidence and earn their repeat business. We have already established a number of relationships within the Greater Houston area and look forward to additional opportunities in the future.”
