Hellas Construction has expanded their breath of services by recently adding a sports lighting division to their group. Hellas now specializes in high profile lighting and electrical work for athletic stadiums and facilities. This addition to Hellas’ offerings further differentiates them as one of the fastest-growing vertically-integrated sports companies in North America.
Wayne Huntsinger, Vice President of Sports Lighting now leads the division. Huntsinger says, “We are very excited to be a part of building quality sports facilities under the Hellas brand. Hellas is a world class sports construction company and adding the lighting exclamation point extenuates an already beautiful project. Proper lighting adds to the utility of a field by allowing customers to access their fields any time of day." Currently, the Sports Lighting Division has 20 Hellas employees and continues to grow in order to meet the demand for new lighting projects throughout the United States.
The lighting division includes scoreboard construction, drilling piers, lifting beams with cranes, welding the structures, plus adding all electrical circuits and connections.
Hellas is the official turf provider of the Dallas Cowboys and their practice facility at the Star in Frisco. Hellas is the preferred turf provider of the Houston Texans and the Houston Methodist Training Center for the Texans. Hellas is also the exclusive turf provider of the Jacksonville Jaguars Training Center and an official partner with the Miami Dolphins at their practice facility as well. Hellas is the Official Artificial Turf Provider at Allegiant Stadium, “Future Home of UNLV Football.”

Raiders – The Raiders, celebrating their 60th year of professional football competition in 2019, will relocate to Las Vegas next season.
